How this data is checked
Every fact here links back to the school's official pages or open government data, with the date it was last checked. A fact is published only when it meets all the rules below.
1181 schoolsUnited States 1104Australia 41United Kingdom 22Singapore 6Canada 5Italy 2Germany 1
Sources
- The school's official pages (financial aid, international admissions): the only source for aid and scholarships. We store facts and links, never copied text.
- College Scorecard and IPEDS (U.S. Department of Education): profile, admissions, cost and CIP programs for U.S. schools.
- Each school's own Common Data Set: number of international students receiving aid and the average award (section H6).
- Government sources in each country for notes on tuition, quotas and post-study work.
Rules before publishing
- Every Yes/No comes with a verbatim quote from the school's page; with no quote, it reads “Unclear”.
- The quote must state exactly what is concluded, without inference; if it can be read two ways, it reads “Unclear”.
- Every explanation exists in both Vietnamese and English, written from the same quote.
- The source page must open and still carry the content.
Changes must be confirmed
A published Yes/No changes only when two consecutive checks both find the new value. The first difference is only noted for follow-up; the page keeps the previous value.
“Unclear” is a normal state
Many schools do not state their policy for international students clearly on official pages. We then write “Unclear” with a one-line reason instead of guessing. A school with several unchecked sections simply has not been reviewed yet.
Four kinds of scholarships and aid
- Merit — Based on achievement, not family finances. Automatic or by separate application.
- Need-based aid — Based on financial circumstances, via the CSS Profile or the school's form.
- Talent — Through auditions, portfolios or athletics.
- Tuition waiver — Reduces the amount charged; Singapore's Tuition Grant is one, but it is government-funded and bonded.
Which schools are listed
At most 50 schools per country, chosen by sourced criteria (for example undergraduate international enrolment from IPEDS in the U.S.), never by rankings. Each school page states why it is listed. Countries with fewer schools list them all.
Limits
- We do not rank schools and do not predict admission chances.
- Figures carry their academic year; unpublished years are marked as such, never inferred from the previous year.
- Data is for lookup on this site only; no download is provided.
