Carl Sandburg College: international tuition 11,000 USD per year, one-year total cost 21,000 USD. Published minimum English scores: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 68.
Getting in. Neither the school's site nor College Scorecard gives an admit rate or the SAT range of admitted students. The SAT and ACT are optional: a score counts if you send one, and you can still apply without it. For English, the school asks for IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL iBT 68+.
Cost for a year. One year comes to 21,000 USD, before any scholarship. 1 scholarship comes with an amount, but none says international students can apply, so nothing is taken off yet. For the I-20, the school needs proof of 21,000 USD. Health insurance is 1,600 USD a year.
Deadline and visa. The application deadline for fall is 1/7. You apply through Sandburg online application (applications.sandburg.edu). How long the visa takes is up to the consulate; see the country note.
