step sizeVietnamese: độ dài bước
Độ dài bước (step size) là khoảng cách ngang giữa hai giá trị x liên tiếp trong phương pháp Euler, cho biết ta đi dọc tiếp tuyến bao xa mỗi bước.Step size is the horizontal distance between consecutive x-values in Euler's method; it sets how far you move along the tangent line in each step.
Intuition: Imagine walking along a curved path in thick fog: with each stride, you head straight in the direction you faced at the start of that stride. With short strides, you correct your direction more often and drift off the path less.

Step size is the amount added to at each step of Euler's method. The problem has the form , , where is the right-hand side of the differential equation. To go from to in steps, use . After step , you arrive at the point .
Example: for , , and , the first step gives and . Each step uses only the slope at the start of the step, so a smaller usually gives an approximation closer to the true solution, but it requires more steps.
Dùng để tính mới: lấy hệ số góc tại điểm trước, nhân với độ dài bước , rồi cộng vào cũ.Use this to find the new : take the slope at the previous point, multiply it by the step size , and add the result to the old .

Use this when you want to estimate with equal steps: is the total distance to cover divided by the number of steps.

Step size is not the number of steps.
The number of steps equals (endpoint − starting point)/. For example, going from to with takes 2 steps, so find the number of steps before you build the table.
Each step must add to , not just update .
The formula for updates only , so must be written separately. If you skip it, keeps using , and the results are wrong from the second step on.
A small step size does not make Euler's method exact.
Euler's method is a piecewise linear approximation, so some error always remains. A smaller step usually just brings the approximation closer, and the result should still be written with .
Write down and the number of steps before you calculate.
For example, going from to with takes two steps. Doing this first keeps your table from having missing or extra rows.
Use a negative when the problem asks you to move to the left.
In that case, decreases at each step. For example, going from to in 2 steps gives .
